For all you Hello Kitty lovers – Exemode, a company in Japan, has just released a super cute, super tiny Hello Kitty portable TV. This teeny, ultra-portable device measures only about 4 inches and has a 2.4inch color screen. The battery life is about 4.5hrs and is available in pink or gold. I don’t exactly need another device to carry around but it is cute. Thanks Tokyo Kawaii.

I first saw this trend awhile back at Strapya when they were offering kits with huge rhinestones, lace, and little teddy bears. It has now evolved into this thing of making your phone look yummy. Kits are now being sold with delicious embellishments like fruits, desserts, and just about everything else. A company called Decotti even has a product that looks just like whipped cream. You can DIY but I’ve also found a few places online that will do it for you. Strapya and many places online sells kits but they also sell the whipped creams and embellishments separately so that you can create it just the way you want. This trend is not limited to only cell phones, I’ve seen it done on key chains, cell phones straps as well as compact mirrors, and jewelry – the possibilities are endless. It is very popular in Japan. The word “decoden” basically means to decorate your cell phone or anything you’d like with charms, rhinestones, etc. Google “decoden” and you’ll find tons of images on this trend.

I discovered Strapya a few years ago and fell in love. It is a wonderful place to get accessories for your cellphone as well as other cute things. You can find jewerly, accessories for your gadets, and some unusual stuff, too. Strapya is based is Japan but shipping is fairly quick and decently priced. They are constantly updating their inventory so I suggest getting on their mailing list. I like how they offer personalized charms for your cellphone. I had one with my name on it for my old phone but unfortunately my Blackberry doesn’t have a slot for charms. If your phone doesn’t have a slot for charms, you can always get it a cellphone pouch – they have a bunch of cute ones there. I do recommend if you see something you like, get it! Things go out of stock fast and they seem to take awhile to get back in stock, if they do ever get back in stock. Go check them out! Oh, and if you love Hello Kitty, you’ll love Strapya – tons of Hello Kitty cuteness!
